Worship each Sunday begins at 10 AM. Our music blends traditional and contemporary songs. We read Scripture, listen to a sermon, and we pray together. The central focus is The Lord’s Supper, and all are welcome at the table. We also have services for special religious holidays, such as Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, and Maundy Thursday.
If you are unable to join us in person, our worship services are livestreamed on our Facebook page and can be found on Youtube.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do people dress for services?
Most people dress informally – jeans or shorts, sandals or shoes – though some come in ties or dresses. We simply ask that you “come as you are”.
What are your beliefs?
As Disciples of Christ, we believe that all people are created by God and therefore entitled to respect and freedom: freedom to think for ourselves, govern our own congregations, interpret the Bible in our contexts. “Unity with diversity” has long been a motto. We value open discussion, even disagreement, as we seek to interpret and express our understanding of God’s will for ourselves and our society. We seek unity, but we do not confuse unity with uniformity. We believe God seeks the reconciliation of all divided peoples… whether by age, race, gender, nationality, or any other human division. As Disciples we also believe in individual responsibility… that every member is a minister, responsible to use their spiritual gifts in the service of God’s mission.

How can I get involved?
Attending worship is just the beginning, there are lots of ways to participate at Desert Dove!
- Outreach to our community: We have numerous outreach projects in which we work together to serve our community and the world. You can visit our Ministries page to see our current outreach ministries.
- Small groups and classes: Everyone is invited to participate in classes and small groups that help us deepen our faith.
We love to welcome people into membership who are involved at Desert Dove, though this is only a requirement for certain leadership roles.
