At Desert Dove Christian Church, we desire to be a covenant community by nurturing a relationship with God and neighbor. We celebrate being a partnership community by serving together as laity and clergy believing that ministry belongs to all people of God.

Families and Kids
At Desert Dove, kids are a very important part in the life of the church. During worship, children participate in a short message that is specially prepared for them. After the children's message, kids may go to church school for fun activities and enrichment programs for grade-schoolers. They return to the sanctuary to share in communion with the parents and the congregation.
Community Outreach
We work to make a difference in our neighborhood and the wider community. A part of Desert Dove's mission statement includes providing outreach programs that meet community needs.
We currently provide two distribution programs in the Midvale Park area.
Grijalva Elementary Food Pantry is open the 2nd Thursday of each month during the school year calendar. No one is ever denied food and all of our products available are free. Families signing up are able to take milk, a variety of canned goods, cereal, rice, beans, bread, and fresh produce.
Fresh Produce Giveaway is available on the 3rd Friday of each month from September through May. In partnership with Interfaith Community Services, we are able to provide boxes of fresh produce free for all the community.
Church Life
We offer a variety of educational and fellowship opportunities for adults. Our church is a great place to grow spiritually and also to make new friends.
Through our regional ministries, there are various events throughout the year for the children and youth of Disciples congregations in Arizona, such as summer camps and regional youth gatherings.
